Eto'o launches the "Yellow Whistle Blower FC''

Former Cameroon international has presented Friday at a Paris fundraising initiative launched by his foundation to help victims of Boko Haram and displaced persons in northern Cameroon.

"Yellow Whistle Blower FC" is the initiative that former Cameroonian footballer Samuel Eto'o just introduced in Paris. The chosen name refers to the yellow whistles ("yellow whistle") that symbolize the country, and is an allusion to "whistleblowers" ("whistleblowers") that relay injustices or dramatic situations in opinion. The stated objective is to raise funds that will be distributed to NGOs that assist displaced people in northern Cameroon because of the threat of Islamist sect Boko Haram.

The footballer, whose foundation is already very active on the African continent, : "This initiative, which is close to my heart is a campaign of solidarity, and like me, many are outraged by the injustice and isolation that these populations live. This is an opportunity to sound the alarm about a deteriorating situation. "" Together, we can help them, "is the slogan of this fundraising campaign.

On the Facebook page "Yellow Whistle Blower" is already displayed photos of other players providing support to the operation of which the Italian Marco Materazzi, the Ukrainian Andriy Shevchenko or Abou Diaby.
